OPAD International is governed by nine-member Board of Trustees headed by a Global Chairman. However, each Regional Office has its own Board of Directors governing its regional affairs. OPAD USA is registered independently in the United States with its own Board of Trustees managing its operations. However, the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the OPAD USA Board of Trustees sit at the OPAD International governing Board. The Global Board Chairman and the Vice have jurisdiction in all regional and local board meetings

Frank Kanu is a social worker with expertise in social and environment issues. He is active in the NGO sector for over 15 years, and has been involved in successful management and design of many projects in Europe, Asia and Africa, especially in the framework of EU Programmes, such as Lifelong Learning, Erasmus+ programme and many other Projects and its implementation. He strongly believed in the non –profit, as a sociocultural and economic driving engine that creates a platform for equal and supportive society. Mr Kanu is personate in poverty reduction and actively involve in it eradication. He is also a Partner for the Platform for intercultural Europe
Amb. Dr Carlos E Garcia
Dr. Garcia was the Permanent Representative of El Salvador to the United Nations, in New York. He has a combined diplomatic experience of over 20 years. He also the co-founder and Secretary General of the United Nations Association of El Salvador. Prior to his appointment as the OPAD UN|USA, Latin American and the Caribbean, has work in several humanitarian organizations and represent them in the United Nations in New York. He has received several outstanding awards and recognition by the United States's Senates and received the USA flag as an honored diplomat. Recently he received the United States's Senate Proclamation, which certified his credibility.
John Allieu
Mr Allieu is a business consultant and has developed the integrated and holistic approach to deliver services. He has been a key contributor to OPAD. Mr Allieu is the highly respected in Europe in relations to the cultural values he is planting the minds of the European people. He has over five years of project experience in Europe with strong camp management for refugees.
Madelyn Rodriguez
Madelyn Rodriguez is a television journalist, producer and speaker. She is the author of three books available on Amazon titled The Stairways to Heaven, Express Leadership and Position yourself and take your place. Rodriguez was a television presenter for Telemundo 47 New York, and also an on-air talent for Fox News Latino, Mun2, Bronx Net TV and Alerta TV. Her journalism career started with the magazine's People en Español, Sports Illustrated Latino, and the newspaper Jersey Journal. At the United Nations in New York, she has been the moderator of conferences and events.
Peter Marrah Kamara
Mr Kamara has wealth of experience in the financial market in Sierra Leone. He has over 21 years of working experience in both private and public sectors in the West African Sub-region. Mr Kamara was the Financial Controller of The National Project Coordinator Unit, a Specialist Unit created by both the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) and the Government of Sierra Leone. He also helped in the establishment of First International Bank in the Gambia and later came to help in the establishment of the same bank in Sierra Leone. Prior to now, he was the Financial Management Specialist at Equity Investment and Participation (SL) Ltd. He also served as Editorial Director, Banking and Capital Market for Heritage Consulting (UK) Ltd.
Dr Al Shek Kamara
Dr. Al Shek Kamara was the Deputy Inspector General of Sierra Leone Police (SLP), where he served for twenty-nine years.. For several years, he has been engaged in Community Policing projects that are geared towards influencing reforms in addressing issues relating to drug abuse and conflict. He is also the protagonist for the Domestic Revenue Generation Project, which is now immensely benefiting the SLP. Mr. Kamara was until 2015 Chairman of the Board managing the double Award-winning Radisson Blu hotel in Sierra Leone. He has also served as Director in the Boards of NASSIT and the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority. He has presented several Papers and made three significant publications: - Essays on the Criminal Justice System in Contemporary Sierra Leone; Crime and Punishment in Sierra Leone, and Reviewing DDR in Sierra Leone.
Raymond Gbekie
Mr Raymond Kai Gbekie was the Chief Executive Officer for Sierra Leone's Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDA). Before his appointment to SMEDA he was the Chief Executive Officer for the Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency, SLIEPA where he started as the Director of Investment Promotion. In 2016 Mr Gbekie won the Chief Executive Officer of the year award among other national awards. He developed series of national investment promotion materials to boast the country's economy through private investment campaigns
Dr. Caesar Campos
Dr. Campos is the co-Founder for the Maya Foundation that promote the importance of implementing the UN SDGs goals. His vision is to create awareness on the need to protect, heal and restore our environment from the damage that we are doing to the planet through eco-theology, thus matching the fundamental believes of OPAD focus on climate change.
Osman Benk Sankoh
Mr Sankoh is a seasoned humanitarian worker and Communications Officer with over a decade of international experience working in hardship/humanitarian environments and post-conflict settings. He was the Sector Public Information Officer at the United Nations Mission in Liberia, and head of community outreach in the same institution. His major expertise includes developing communication strategies for peace consolidation efforts; designing and gender-mainstreaming information products and messages; organizing campaigns; drafting talking points, speeches and press releases, messages for social media, and appearances on radio and television.
Ann Marie Bangura
Ms Bangura has been a professional banker for over 10 years. Where she developed her skills in marketing and leadership. She was the Head of Marketing at FiBank (SL) Ltd Cline Town Branch. Prior to that she has worked with several NGOs that engage with youths and children in Sierra Leone

Sir Dr Clyde Rivers

Dr Rivers is the acting Representative to the United Nations – New York for the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI) and the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI). Dr Clyde Rivers is acting Ambassador and the Director of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International. Dr Clyde Rivers is the Spokesperson for the World Civility Day, Community Civility Counts Initiative. In 2017 Dr Rivers won the United States Presidential Life Achievement Award for over 4,000 hours of serving the nation and humanity. Dr Rivers is the recipient of the Danny K. Davis Peace Prize 2017, U.S. Congressman of Illinois. This annual Congressional Award is given for excelling in his field and making a difference in people’s lives. In 2017 Dr Rivers was given the Title of Don/Sir Dr Clyde Rivers as he was Knighted into the original Kingdom of Guatemala, and the great city of La Antigua the first city established by the Spanish Monarchy. Knighted by Lord EDUARDO L. PRADO S. the Commodore De Santiago De Los Caballeros De La Antigua Guatemala. Dr Rivers is the recipient of an Honorable Mention for the American Civic Collaboration Award 2017 – Celebrating Partnerships that Strengthen America. Dr Clyde Rivers is the Honorary Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi, as appointed by H.E.
